The SalsaNor Rueda Congress takes you to new places, and we always spend Friday morning visiting a beautiful spot worth seeing. This year’s Friday Daytime Social will take place in one of Tromsø’s most loved outdoor gathering spots, Telegrafbukta. Telegrafbukta makes a perfect setting for a chill Friday Daytime Social, with open grassy areas, smooth rock formations and small white-sand beaches, all framed by the sea and views towards Kvaløya.



The area blends seamlessly into Sydspissen and the surrounding park areas, with easy walking paths along the shoreline and benches along the way. The terrain is varied but accessible, making it well suited for a casual gathering where people can move around, chat, sit down, or simply enjoy being outside.

Facilities in the area include toilets, benches, open lawns and paved paths.

This Friday social will be filled with fresh air, sea views and space to connect outside the dance floor before the weekend continues. A very Tromsø way to kick off the congress weekend.



How to get there: BUS TRANSFER or WALKING

Choose between getting our organised bus from Scandic Ishavshotel or walking (led by our local staff).

10:30 If you are WALKING to Telegrafbukta, meet at the main entrance of Scandic Ishavshotel.
Our local staff will take you by foot the appr. 40-45 min walk to Telegrafbukta, mainly along the waterfront.

10:50 If you are getting the BUS, meet at the main entrance of Scandic Ishavshotel.
There are bus transfers at 11:00 from the main venue, Scandic Ishavshotel, to Telegrafbukta. Bus tickets can be purchased already through this link, or directly at info-desk.

You may get you ticket already through this link, or at info desk (68 NOK ≈ 6€). Tickets are scanned at the bus.

Arriving at Telegrafbukta, feel free to have a stroll around the area, perhaps get som nice photos of the stunning scenery and enjoy the freshest air you’ve probably had in a long time :)

14:00  Guided WALK back to the hotel, or BUS TRANSFER.
If you are taking the bus both ways, remember to get 2 tickets.

We will have an outdoor lunch together at 13 hrs. The local company Eide Handel will be on site to offer some of their delicious, homemade options for our outdoor lunch, check the menu:
