Siri Heggebø
Siri Heggebø is our own SalsaNor instructor of Rueda de Casino in Oslo. She started dancing Cuban salsa as a student in the city of Bergen in 2005 and moved on to dancing Rueda de Casino the following year. While she has experience from several dance styles, it is Rueda and the Cuban rhythm that continue to inspire her the most.
Siri dances and teaches both leader and follower roles, with a clear focus on flow, clarity and a sense of mastery in her classes. Inspired by Rueda dancers and communities from different places, she enjoys exploring new ideas and bringing them into her teaching, with the aim of giving dancers the confidence to explore the wider Rueda world. We´re so excited to have a rueda teacher from both SalsaNor cities teaching this year in Tromsø; make sure to spot Siri’s class on the schedule and plan to attend!
Anne-Lill Olsen
Anne-Lill is one of our own rueda teachers in SalsaNor Trondheim. She discovered salsa already back in 2010 and quickly became hooked on Rueda de Casino. Since then, she has participated in most of SalsaNor’s Rueda Congresses, as well as several other rueda events in Norway and abroad. And since 2019 she has been teaching.
For Anne-Lill, it is important that everyone in the rueda experiences mastery and joy of dancing. To her, the best ruedas are not necessarily about complex figures, but about good flow and interaction, and that everyone – both followers and leaders – has an important and active role in the rueda.
We´re so excited to have a rueda teacher from both SalsaNor cities teaching this year in Tromsø; make sure to be there!
