We’re delighted to have Luis Duarte back at the SalsaNor Rueda Congress 2025! Since joining us in 2019, Luis has quickly become one of the most popular and admired teachers at the event. His perfect teaching style, creativity, energy, and dedication to his students make him a fantastic role model for the next generation of dancers.
Luis began his dance journey at 17 and quickly became a standout in salsa and Afro-Cuban styles. He spent time in Cuba refining his skills in Rumba, Son, Casino, and Afro-Cuban dance before returning to Europe to expand his knowledge with ballet, capoeira, and breakdance. This diverse background has helped him develop a unique, highly musical style that sets him apart.
Based in Hamburg, Luis runs his dance school El Chevere and continues to tour top festivals across Europe. We’re proud to have him back as part of our Artist Team and Rueda Family in Graz this September!
