You can expect tree days (four if you opt-in for the pre-congress) packed with dancing and fun. During the daytime, there are multiple workshop sessions at all levels – usually several classes running in parallel (up to 7 at once) so you can choose what interests you. In the evenings, there are social dance parties each night with top Cuban salsa/Timba DJs keeping the floor alive. A unique highlight is the Friday Daytime Social, an outing where the whole congress goes out to explore the host city together and dance in a public space. Saturday night features a special Gala Night with a three-course dinner and a theme party, often including shows or performances. In summary, the congress offers intensive Rueda workshops at every level, hours of social dancing across four amazing parties (plus the outdoor social on Friday), an international community of dancers, and an authentic Cuban dance atmosphere. It’s an immersive long weekend of learning, culture, and connecting with the “Rueda family” from around the world.
