Join SalsaNor on Wednesday night for a special evening mountain-event! On top of Fjellheisen (Tromsø cable car) you will find Tromsø best view and the best spot to experience Northern Lightning (Aurora Borealis).

There will be dancing!
Tromsø by night is a spectacular sight and we will dance rueda on the top of the mountain this evening with our Wednesday arrivals, hopefully enjoying a dancing Aurora Borealis.

There are two alternatives to get to the top: walking/hiking or by Cable car.

Alternative 1 – Waking/hiking to the top (45 min – 1 hour). FREE OF CHARGE.

Meet up at 18:30 PM at the bottom of the Sherpa stairs at the end of Fløyvegen in Tromsdalen.

Enjoy a free hiking tour by foot with SalsaNor. We will walk the 1203 Sherpa stairs and 700 high meters to the top of the famous Storsteinnen mountain. The hike will take approximately 1 hour.  The hike is a challenge, but there will be breaks on the way up at the resting areas and stunning viewpoints along the way.
The hike is accessible for anyone with a medium fitness level.

How to get to the meeting point
You can take the public bus nr 26 from the Torgsenteret in Tromsø city (by Peppes pizza, 5 minutes from the hotel) and get off at the “Fløyvegen” bus stop. The bus takes apx 13 minutes.
More info about the bus schedule can be found on the Svipper App, where you also can purchase your bus tickets. We may also arrange shared departure from the hotel if needed.

We will go the same route down again. You can also purchase a one way/return ticket with the cable car to get down. You can purchase this ticket in advance or at the top the same evening: NOK 415,- (Apx 35 Euro)
