We know most of you like to prepare well, and also for what and when to have meals throughout the event:
The venue hotel Novapark is not in the centre of Graz. Please find the necessary information below about what the hotel offers for each day. If you feel like getting alternatives to the hotel, the closest restaurant is a Chinese one just across the street from the supermarket Interspar (8-10 min walk from the hotel). Or lots of options in the city centre.
Breakfast is included in the hotel stay, and is served as a buffet every morning from 7 to 11.
Thursday we arrange a pre-congress dinner at 18:30 for the 100 participants of the pre-congress. An e-mail with registration link for this meal is sent to the pre-participants. At the moment there are 8 spaces left.
The hotell does not offer lunch Thursday or Friday, but will have a variety of
snacks available for purchase in the reception area.
If you wish to have dinner at the hotel restaurant Thursday, Friday or Sunday evening, the hotel offers a dinner buffet 18:30-20:30 at the price 19,50€ to be paid directly at the entrance to the restaurant. Please note that the capacity of the restaurant is only 180 people at one time.
The other meals are included in the full pass, being lunch Saturday and Sunday, and the Gala dinner Saturday. The lunch buffets will be served 13:30-16:00 both days and have a variety of hot and cold dishes, also with vegetarian/vegan options.
There is only a 1 hour break from the workshops. If you want to avoid queues during lunch, we recommend having lunch either before or after the main break from the workshops.The Gala Dinner is a 3-course meal. Seating from 19:30 Saturday evening, 1st course being served at 20.
