Friday Daytime Social is one of the highlights of the event, where the whole congress moves outside to get to know something from our host city. This years daytime event looks really promising!!
We will start the day off visiting the beautiful Schlossberg 1 (eng. Castle Mountain) to see the Uhrturm 2 (eng. Clock Tower), the city’s landmark. You may either go with our organised bus transport from the venue hotel Novapark directly to the bottom of the city mountain, or you can organise your own way with public transport or taxi.
When at the foot of the Schlossberg, you can choose either to walk the steps up the small mountain, take the funicular railway og the Schlossberg lift. Read more about these option on our webpage about the program this day (link).
After a nice stroll taking in the beautiful views at the top, we move our way back down to the city centre, where you can either join our guides that will show you the most important sights of Graz on the way.

We end up at Mariahilferplatz, where there are several options for a nice lunch. And of course this year is no exception, we will do our great outdoor ruedas and also social dancing for a couple of hours to the best music from our djs before heading back to the Novapark hotel to kick off the first workshops.
Here is our schedule for the day:
| 10.00 | Departure with organised buses from Novapark hotel Tickets to be purchased at info desk from 9:30 (5€ one way, 10€ return). You may also go by public transport, own car or taxi. |
| 11.30 | Schlossberg – Guided Tour for those who wish to have that |
| 12:45 | Meet-up for the ones who want to go down the hill and to Maria Hilferplatz with a volunteer guide. For everyone: start walking/taking the tram/elevator down from the Schlossberg at the latest 13:00. |
| 13:30 | Mariahilfer Platz – Fiesta en la Calle – organised, rueda dancing & social dancing |
| 15:30 | Organized bus from Mariahilfer Platz to Novapark for those who have the return ticket. The rest do individual return to the hotel. |
