Servus, or ‘HI’, in Graz!
Graz is Austria’s second biggest city and the capital of the federal province of Steiermark, which is known as ‘The Green Heart of Austria’ (ger. Das
Grüne Herz Österreichs). It is famous for its beautiful mountainous landscape, good wine and historic castles. Graz combines the classic charm of its medieval old town, which is a UNESCO World Culture Heritage Site, with modern architecture in newer parts of the city. Whatever it is you look for – vibrant city life, music festivals, peace and calm in refreshing parks, enjoying the sun on the banks of the Mur, cultural sites, contemporary art – you’ll find it in Graz!
