Yohan Fernández Figueredo and Elaine (Elisabeth) Maria Runderkamp have danced over 100 shows together in Havana. They performed with great artists such as Havana D’Primera, Elito Revé y su Charangon and El Niño y la Verdad for Cuban TV programs and music videos.
As members of Proyecto Rueda de Casino, a show team led by one of the founders of the world famous Rueda de Casino, they had the privilege to work with them at the most popular salsa hotspot in Havana: Jardines 1830.
Yohan also formed part of the Conjunto Folklórico Nacional de Cuba, the leading company responsible for cultivating the country’s folk music and dances for more than 50 years.
Elaine received private Afro-Cuban training from one of their main teachers. Y&E have been in the Netherlands since March 2020 and distinguish themselves by their Afro-Cuban, Son and Timba classes!
