Rafael Guardiola
It is with great pride that we present Rafael Guardiola for the first time at the SalsaNor Rueda Congress. One of the main defenders of Cuban culture in Spain since the 90s. Recognized throughout the world as a true “showman” capable of clear the dance floor any place with his art. He has taught classes to the world’s most awarded artists and some of today’s best teachers.
He has performed with many world-renowned groups and singers (Carlos Baute, Chucho Valdés, DLG, El Tosco, Joaquín Moré, José Alberto el Canario, La Charanga Habanera, Maikel Blanco, Manolín el Médico de la Salsa, Óscar de León, Pablo FG , Willy Chirino, David Montes, José Luis “El Gato” Morán…)
Apart from his medical studies in Cuba (doctor in medicine and surgery), he trained in the folkloric dance groups of the University of Medical Sciences in Havana as first dancer, although he began in the world of dance from the age of 5 years.
