The local, Athens-based rueda leader, Giannis, first started dancing traditional Greek dances at the age of 6. In 2005 he moved on to learning Ballroom dances. Then, in 2008, he saw a rueda team dancing, and momentarily fell completely in love with rueda de casino.

In 2009 he started teaching rueda classes and since then he has kept experimenting different rueda variations with groups of students and friends.

His approach to rueda is reminiscent of physics & geometry, and his dance-priorities are “safety, love & laugh!”  These priorities sound great to us, and as we already met Ioannis, we know he´s a wonderful guy. Do not miss his classes during the event!!
