Please welcome the two invited guest instructors to give a class each at the 2023-edition of the SalsaNor Rueda Congress.
Carina lives in Oslo, Norway, and has been dancing salsa for 10 years, and 9 of them rueda! As a young girl she was active in drill troops, and later teaching such troops. Later she was dancing swing & rock’n’roll for 5 years, before getting addicted to salsa and rueda and assisting other cuban teachers in their classes. The last 5 years she has been leading the group Rueda con Fuerza Femenina, that came 5th in the Wadf Rueda de Casino World Championship 2022. She simply loves rueda and she’s a great caller of social rueda.
Matias lives in Espoo, Finland, and has been teaching Cuban dances for 16 years! He is known for his sunny energy, pedagogic skills and deep understanding of Cuban music. He is constantly touring as a teacher, bringing the joy of Cuban dances to wide audiences all over Finland.
