This young Portuguese developed his enthusiasm for salsa and Afro-cuban dances from the age of 17. In a very short time, he became an astonishing dancer and dance teacher.

To improve his dance style he spent a period of time in Cuba, which allowed him to improve dances like Rumba, Son, Casino and Afrocuban.

After returning to Germany, Luis started to learn different dance styles such as ballet, capoeira and breakdance to complete his dancing skills. By combining these different elements with salsa he developed his style full of musicality which, nowadays, makes him a unique and an original artist.

The last years Luis has been teaching salsa at his dance school El Chevere in Hamburg.  He has also been touring continuously from one event to another, some of them amongst the most important festivals in Europe.

Luis is an excellent example for the new generation of artists of our community: didactically perfect, sympathetic, well present at the parties and with a lot of time for the participants of his workshops.

It is a pleasure for the second year in a row to announce that Luis will be with us in this edition in Bratislava. His joy and positive energy will not let you stop dancing!
