Hotel
We are currently working on the last details of the facilities for classes and parties.
This will be published as soon as contracts are signed.
However, we have made an agreement with hotel CABINN HOTEL Aarhus, which we will use for the committee and artists, and as we have negotiated an agreement with the participants who wish to use this accomodation.
Due to Aarhus cityfest / Festugen (see news below), it is recommended to make the necessary accommodation booking early.

Venue
We
are currently working on the details with the congress venue in Aarhus. We
will publish specific information when we have signed Vi venter med å gå ut med konkret informasjon til vi har en bindende avtale om lokaler.
Planen er å åpne for påmelding medio av februar, men vi håper å ha lokalene klare før det. Vi har også planer om å anbefale et konkret hotell, hvor artister og komité vil bo, og vil også prøve å reservere noen rom der til avtalte priser for kongressdeltakere.
Vi anbefaler derfor å sjekke priser på reise nå, og vente i noen få uker med bookinger til vi har klar en avtale om lokaler.

New Rueda Standard videos on YouTube
In 2011 the Norwegian Rueda Standard was updated. Some new moves were added, and a few were taken out. The new moves were recorded with instructors from the Rueda Congress in Stavanger, and the first edited videos are now published on YouTube.

Aarhus cityfest week 2012 (Festugen)
The annual Aarhus cityfest in 2012 is the first week of September, which means the same weekend as the Rueda Congress 2012.
That will bring a lot of people and cultural events during the weekend and the preceeding week, with a nice opportunity to get a couple of days off from work and extend yout Rueda Congress weekend.
It also means that it will be more people to go for the same hotel rooms. We recommend that you start planning early this year, to avoid ending up with expensive accomodation.

to Aarhus in 2012! Welcome to Aarhus 6.-9.September 2012! For those who missed the launch of the Rueda Congress city 2012in Bente's speech during the Gala Dinner, here's a short summary >>
The Rueda Congress 2012 in Aarhus will be a coprodution between SalsaNor (Stavnger, Norway) and Baila Siempre (Horsens, Denmark), the dance school run by Erodys Castillo Borrero og Tenna Qvist.
For some time now we have wanted to take the Rueda Congress to Denmark, but we have been waiting for the right time and the right contacts. Erodys and Tenna are now an important part of the Rueda Congress, and our participants are particularly fond of them (just scroll down this page and repeat the instructor voting from 2011).
They are now ready to invite rueda enthusiasts from Norway, Sweden, Denmark, England, Germany, and the rest of Europe to Aarhus for a great weekend of rueda dancing.
