Cuban Salsa European Champion 2010 amongst the instructors
|
We are proud to announce that one of our rueda instructors for the coming Rueda
Congress 2010 in Vienna, Roynet Perez Gonzales, won the European Championship of
Cuban Salsa the 30th of July. He won together with his excellent Finnish partner
Johanna Haapaen. The competition was held at the Salsa Camp outside Århus,
Denmark. There were 10 couples in the competition, from Holland, Finland,
Denmark, France, Spain, Cyprus and Germany.

The 9th International Rueda Congress
The Rueda Congress started in Stavanger, Norway, in 2002 (then called the Rueda gathering), and has been on every year since then, in different cities in Europe. 2009 was the 10 years anniversary of SalsaNor, with a Rueda Congress in Havana, Cuba, as well as a mini Rueda Congress in Stavanger, Norway.
