Who can participate? What are the rules?

1) The competition is open to dancers who don`t teach rueda on a regular basis. The team can however include one pro rueda guy and/or one pro rueda girl.

2) Each team has to be formed with 3-6 couples.

3) Each team is required to have their own music. The music has to be in CD format and 100% salsa, even though a salsa mix can be used. Routines are to be 3 minutes maximum.

4) Registration is free but teams are kindly asked to sign up by 1 th of September.

5) All teams will be judged by a panel of cuban salsa and rueda instructors. The head judge will have the final say in case of disputes or a tie.

6) Each team will be judged by their enthusiasm and joy of dancing, challenging moves, synchronized execution, show factor, as well as their overall style and appearance.
